Thursday 19 January, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 19 January for a virtual training contract application masterclass, held in partnership with The University of Law (ULaw).
We’ll be hearing from lawyers and graduate recruitment specialists at leading law firms Hogan Lovells, Shoosmiths and Charles Russell Speechlys, and a careers expert from ULaw, about what makes a successful training contract application.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
How can I effectively demonstrate a passion for commercial law? What hot commercial awareness topics should I be looking to cover? What are the most common application pitfalls to avoid? These are just some of the questions that the speakers will address, ahead of the participating firms’ upcoming TC deadlines.
The panel discussion will run from 4pm to 5pm, after which there will be virtual networking with the speakers, trainees and graduate recruitment teams from their firms and some of ULaw’s campus ambassadors and future trainees until 6pm.
The speakers
• Jessica Morgan, graduate recruitment adviser at Hogan Lovells
• Joanna Stevens, early talent manager at Charles Russell Speechlys
• Samantha Hope, graduate recruitment manager at Shoosmiths
• James Mannouch, pro bono coordinator at The University of Law
Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
