Thursday 26 September, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 26 September for a virtual student event with Linklaters.
The theme is Space and the law. Linklaters lawyers will share their insights into this fast-growing sector, which has benefitted from a recent surge of interest in accessing Space and a sharp rise in the number of commercial satellites in orbit.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
Working across a wide range of practice areas – including finance, projects, corporate, regulatory, antitrust, dispute resolution and technology media & telecommunications (TMT) – the lawyers will explain how technological innovation is fuelling business’ interest in opportunities in the Space sector. And they will give a steer on the legal frameworks governing this activity and how they might evolve in the years ahead.
The speakers
• Tom Capon, counsel in the capital markets and structured finance and securitisation (SFG) team
• Nicholas Puschman, associate in the TMT/IP team
• Sudheera Koduru, associate in the antitrust & foreign investment team
After short talks and a panel discussion, there will be virtual networking with the speakers, trainees and members of Linklaters’ recruitment team.
Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
