Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 28 November for a virtual student event with Harbottle & Lewis.
Harbottle & Lewis is renowned for working with some of the world’s most recognisable and creative individuals and companies, across their legal and business needs. Having built on its heritage as a specialist in media and entertainment, the firm’s expertise now spans numerous practice areas and a wide range of industries.
Time: 3pm to 4.45pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
Drawing inspiration from real-life client examples, four of the firm’s lawyers have created a case study about the career and life of a musical talent. This case study will illustrate the firm’s role in the typical journey of a client, covering various stages such as helping the talent sign their first management contract, navigating private client matters, advising on launching a start-up, and resolving IP disputes. The speakers will share valuable insights into their respective practice areas and discuss the importance of fostering long-lasting client relationships.
The speakers will also reflect on their career journeys to date and give advice to aspiring lawyers.
The speakers
• Alexa Collis, partner in the private client team
• Ed Lane, managing associate in the corporate team
• Marissa Beatty, associate in the IP disputes team
• Sofie Sigvardt, associate in the media & entertainment team
After short talks, a presentation and a Q&A, there will be virtual networking with the speakers, Harbottle trainees and members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team.
Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
