Thursday 23 November, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 23 November for a virtual student event with leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF).
The event will explore what it is like to work as a City lawyer at a truly international law firm – HSF has 24 offices in 19 countries around the globe. We’ll be joined by lawyers based in HSF’s London office from across four of its key practices: disputes, corporate, real estate and competition, regulation and trade.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
They will look at some of their recent work highlights, explaining how they work with other offices in the firm’s cross-border network on multi-jurisdictional transactions and disputes. The speakers will also consider some of the key commercial awareness topics impacting their work at the moment, and offer advice for those looking to follow in their footsteps.
The speakers
- Natalia Rodriguez, partner in the competition, regulation and trade team
- Ben Elkington, senior associate in the real estate team
- Phoebe Boulton, associate in the dispute resolution team
- Yusra Jafar, associate in the corporate team
After a series of short talks and panel discussion, there will be virtual networking with the speakers, HSF trainees and members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team.
