International risks: physical, geopolitical and environmental — with RPC

Wednesday 2 October, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually

Join us on the afternoon of Wednesday 2 October for a virtual student event with RPC.

The theme is risk. We’ll be exploring law firms’ role in mitigating adverse outcomes in the realm of the physical, geopolitical and environmental, and by extension facilitating commerce in these spaces.

A panel of lawyers from the firm will share insights into their work with companies and insurers, including advising on losses related to high severity events such as explosions and fires, environmental disasters, war and political violence, energy, mining and infrastructure, product liability and long-tail exposures.

Date: Wednesday 2 October 2024
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates

The speakers will also look back on their career journeys and give advice to students hoping to follow a similar path.

The speakers

Lucy Dyson, partner specialising in insurance and reinsurance law
Holly Slowther, associate in the international risk team

After short talks and a panel discussion, there will be an opportunity to meet the speakers, RPC trainees and members of the firm’s early talent team.

Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the firm.
