Join us on the evening of Thursday 1 December for a series of in-person careers and commercial awareness workshops with Bird & Bird, Forsters, Mayer Brown and The University of Law.

The event, which is free and open to all students, takes place from 5pm to 8pm at The University of Law’s London Bloomsbury campus. Students will attend four workshops, each 30-minutes long, delivered by lawyers at the participating firms as well as a careers expert from ULaw. Midway through the event there is 40 minutes of networking with the firms’ trainees and graduate recruitment teams over drinks and snacks.
The workshop themes:
• Commercial Real Estate… not just easements and covenants (Forsters, delivered by Anthony Goodmaker, partner in commercial real estate)
• Applications masterclass (ULaw, delivered by Sandie Gaines, Dean of Bloomsbury Campus and John Watkins, employability director)
• Innovation and the Law (Bird & Bird, delivered by Kathryn Pearson, head of knowledge and client service solutions)
• Understanding global law firms (Mayer Brown, delivered by Rachel Speight, finance partner)
