Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 5 September for an in-person student event with Clifford Chance at the firm’s global headquarters in Canary Wharf, London.

The theme is energy transition, one of the fastest growing sectors of the global economy. The transition to a low carbon economy requires an increased rate of investment from both the public and private sectors across many different technologies and sectors.

Lawyers from Clifford Chance’s London team across different practice areas will share their experiences advising on Energy Transition matters around the world, including both developed and emerging markets. We will also hear from a representative from the firm’s newly-opened Houston office.

Date: Thursday 5 September 2024
Time: 4pm to 6:30pm
Location: Clifford Chance, 10 Upper Bank Street, London, E14 5JJ
Level: Students, Graduates

They will discuss their roles working on the financing, development and investment in projects including carbon capture, renewable energy, clean hydrogen and green fuels, and bring to life their role as lawyers working on these pioneering developments, giving insights into the advice that is required by the firm’s clients.

The speakers will also discuss their career journeys that have led them to this point and reflect on some of the qualities necessary for success in this fast-changing market.

The speakers

• David Stringer, partner in the energy and infrastructure team
• Leonhard Rudolph, director, construction
• Samiha Bham, senior associate in the energy and infrastructure team
• Keith Hauck, senior associate in the worldwide projects team
Samuel Monk, senior associate in the private equity team
Amy Bristol, associate in the construction team

After short talks and a panel discussion, there will be the opportunity to chat with Clifford Chance lawyers, trainees and members of the firm’s early talent acquisition team.

This event is fully booked.
