Now this is a law-themed Christmas tree
Congratulations to Newcastle corporate law firm Muckle, which has created by far the best legal profession Christmas tree of the year.
Its law book-based work of art features dozens of legal tomes — some old, others more modern — and gets extra points for health and safety-conscious netting to protect the firm from any personal injury embarrassment.
Other efforts worthy of special mention from the stream of tree pics doing the rounds on Twitter include this snowball-themed number from London litigation shop Collyer Bristow.

The Legal Cheek team also enjoyed this loftily-located tree high up in Clifford Chance towers at Canary Wharf.
And how can anyone fail to be enchanted by Middle Temple’s beautiful hall at Christmas? (Note to impressionable students with access to money: this is not worth paying £18,000 in Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) for unless you love law and really want to be a barrister for the right reasons too.)
