Rockin’ the law
Our latest instalment in an occasional series of whacky US law firm advertisements is this hording from Austin in Texas, where David Komie rocks the legal profession.
He is a partner at Komie & Morrow, which specialises in personal injury, crime and employment and was only launched three years ago. It’s not often you get a dreadlocked lawyer — outside of Jamaica, that is, and especially, one imagines, in the Lone Star state — so Komie’s image must be a slight distraction to motorists.
The firm’s website profile says that after a brief run as a professional tennis player, Komie fared better at Mercer University’s Walter F George School of Law in Georgia. Apparently, his “unique brand of compassion, fairness and devotion to service sets him apart from his peers”.
