Tuesday 10 December, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
The Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route provides a variety of options for preparation courses and training. With so many choices available, selecting the right SQE pathway can feel overwhelming.
Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 10 December for our latest virtual student event run in partnership with The College of Legal Practice, where we’ll delve into the different options available for studying and funding the SQE, the factors you need to consider before choosing which path to take, as well as how to ensure that your chosen route fits in with your work and career plans.
The discussion will be led by Kathryn Newton, programme leader at The College, alongside Becca Schrod, graduate recruitment manager at Reed Smith, who will share their experiences working closely with students preparing for and sitting the SQE in recent years.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
They will explore how Reed Smith supports its future trainees during their SQE studies, covering a range of preparation methods and funding options. The discussion will include firm-sponsored training programmes, self-study options, and available funding opportunities, along with top tips for those considering this qualification route.
After the panel discussion, there will be virtual networking with the speakers, Reed Smith trainees and other SQE experts from The College of Legal Practice for follow-up questions and further careers advice.
Apply to attend. You’ll be asked to submit two questions to the speakers.
