Thursday 14 December, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 14 December for a virtual student event with transatlantic law firm Womble Bond Dickinson.
We’ll be taking an inside look at the firm’s financial services team, a leader in the banking & finance field, advising clients across a wide range of sectors including funds, high-street banks, private equity backed businesses and publicly listed companies.
Partner Philip Withey will be leading the discussion. Philip will be joined by members of his team to discuss their recent work highlights, how they collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s vast network of offices, and some of the key global trends impacting their clients in the year to come.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
The speakers will also look back on their career journeys, how they came to specialise in this area and provide practical advice for students looking to follow in their footsteps.
The speakers
- Philip Withey, partner in the banking and finance team
- Michael Lewis, partner and head of the UK financial regulation team
- Natalie Caple, associate in the banking and finance team
- Duncan Scott, associate in the financial services team
- Laura Beardsmore, associate in the restructuring and insolvency team
After a series of short talks and a panel discussion, the speakers will be joined by Womble Bond Dickinson trainees and members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team for an hour of virtual networking.
