Tuesday 18 October, 4pm to 6:30pm, taking place IN-PERSON in Leeds
Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 18 October for an IN-PERSON student event in the Leeds office of global law firm Addleshaw Goddard.
The focus will be on commercial awareness as we explore law firms’ role helping their clients to navigate a world in flux, characterised by soaring energy costs, supply chain disruption and geopolitical conflict.
Time: 4pm to 6:30pm
Location: 3 Sovereign Square, Sovereign St, Leeds LS1 4ER
Level: Students, Graduates
We’ll be hearing from senior lawyers at Addleshaw Goddard across a range of practice areas, with a particular focus on energy. As well as talking about their recent work, and the sort of commercial knowledge students need to build as they apply for training contracts, the speakers will reflect on their own career journeys and give advice to those hoping to follow a similar path.
The speakers
- Frances Proctor, managing associate in the real estate team
- Graham Garvie, legal director in the real estate team.
- Anna Sweeney, principal knowledge lawyer in infrastructure projects & energy.
- Emraz Zaman, associate in infrastructure projects & energy.
After short talks and a panel discussion there will be networking with the speakers, members of Addleshaw Goddard’s early careers team, and the firm’s trainees.
