Thursday 31 March, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
The recent introduction of the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) presents new opportunities for aspiring solicitors.
To provide students with everything they need to know about the SQE, Legal Cheek is partnering with BARBRI for a virtual event on the afternoon of Thursday 31 March.
The virtual event will feature a panel discussion with speakers from graduate recruitment and learning & development teams from top City law firms who will address key questions from students around the opportunities presented by the SQE. The discussion will also explore the route of SQE apprenticeships, how to approach qualifying work experience (QWE) and new study options such as the option to ‘earn while you learn’.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
The speakers are Baker McKenzie’s recruitment manager Sarah Peachman, Reed Smith’s learning and development senior manager Katrina Watson, DWF’s head of learning and development Clare Collins, and learning and development manager at Herbert Smith Freehills Victoria Pearson. The Q&A will be chaired by BARBRI’s senior director of business development and former magic circle solicitor, Victoria Cromwell.
Following the panel discussion there will then be virtual networking with BARBRI’s SQE team.
