Tuesday 21 September, 4pm to 6pm, taking place virtually
Driven by increased globalisation and digitisation, businesses face increasingly complex challenges related to the management of legal risk.
For elite law firms like Norton Rose Fulbright this means being alive to clients’ ever-changing needs relating to compliance, governance, and risk management across all industries.
On Tuesday 21 September Legal Cheek is partnering with Norton Rose Fulbright for a virtual student event that brings together lawyers from across its practices. They will discuss how they help clients navigate challenges involving business transformation, regulation and cybersecurity, as well as reflect on how the pandemic has impacted businesses’ perceptions of legal risk.
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Location: Virtual event
Level: Students, Graduates
Students will also hear how the firm’s innovation hub, NRF Transform, leveraged technology to help clients impacted by Covid-related disruption.
The speakers will also discuss their career journeys to date, reflecting on their routes into the profession, while advising students on how they can follow a similar path.
The speakers
• Steven Hadwin, director in the information, governance, privacy, and cyber security team
• Matthew Gregory, counsel in the financial services team
• Sarah Charig, product project manager in the applied technology team
After the panel discussion chaired by a Legal Cheek journalist there will be virtual networking with the speakers, trainees and members of Norton Rose Fulbright’s graduate recruitment team.
