Strong selfie game
We all hate the photograph on our student ID.
Usually taken immediately after a booze-fuelled freshers’ week, it’s fair to say nobody is quite looking their best.
But for one Open University law student that’s certainly an understatement. Applying for her International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Tina Byrne (pictured below) was struggling to find that killer headshot.
So in a move that puzzled most at Legal Cheek HQ, Byrne — who plans to study the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Chester next year — submitted a selfie of her and a cow from a recent volunteer trip to Romania.
Speaking to Legal Cheek, Byrne explained that she was under the impression the ISIC would “crop or edit the cow out”. Oh how wrong she was.
Leaving people in fits of laughter every time she has to present it, Byrne explained that the ISIC rules in relation to photo IDs made “no mention of no Romanian cattle”.
