I’m desperate to stand out but I just don’t know how
In the latest instalment in our Career Conundrums series, one Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) student mulls over her training contract prospects.
I am currently a GDL part time student. I have an undergraduate 2:1 degree in sociology and criminology from the University of East London. I’ve not had much luck in attaining any work experience in the legal field. I currently work in retail. My A level and GCSE grades are not that great. Will I still be able to get a decent training contract? What can I do to make myself stand out more and help me get work experience?
