Law lecturer redesigns reading list as clickbait headlines

King’s College legal academic attempts teaching innovation

A law lecturer has restyled an academic reading list into a series of clickbait-style headlines in homage to the internet-based era of journalism.

The teaching innovation — produced by senior law lecturer at King’s College London James Lee — adopts several journalistic styles in an attempt to make reading about tort law more interesting.

From the BuzzFeed and Legal Cheek-style ‘listicle’ articles, to the Mail Online’s use of capital letters, Lee tweeted eight examples of his revolutionary new idea yesterday.

It would appear that Lee, who specialises in tort law at King’s College’s Dickson Poon School of Law, may be onto something judging my the level of support his post has received so far.

Now if the top academic could explain equity and trusts through a series of funny cat videos, that would be great.
