Did McDonald’s lawyers catch up with Bolton takeaway ‘McIndian’?
Protectors of trademarks will be ‘lovin’ it’ that Bolton takeaway McIndian has changed its name (and whole raison d’etre). The company’s website announces the switch.
Located somewhere between ‘Pizza Inn’ and ‘Michaelsoft Binbows’ on the scale of trademark cheekiness, McIndian will forthwith be known as ‘Good Burger’ as its name becomes less McDonald’s-like but the food it serves, ironically, is changed to place it in direct competition with the global burger giant.
