The dress worn in the iconic Athena poster of the 1970s — a woman in tennis outfit baring bottom — is to be auctioned, going under the hammer on 5 July.
The woman who designed the sporty frock is Carol Knotts, now a personal injury specialist barrister at the country’s biggest set, No 5 Chambers in Birmingham. According to the BBC, Knotts designed the little white number to supplement a monthly allowance doled out by her parents.
