An extended TV advert taken out by a personal injury lawyer during last night’s Superbowl is being hailed in the US as “insanely epic”, “a masterpiece” and “batshit amazing”.
The ad, which aired solely in the state of Georgia during the big American football final, charts the journey made by lawyer Jamie Casino from the world of criminal law to personal injury work as part of a quest to avenge his brother’s death.
It features, amongst other things, a sledgehammer, burning earth and a gravestone being smashed to pieces.
Casino’s previous work draws on similar hammer-based themes, but last night’s classic has provoked by far the biggest media response yet.
