Most of the top 30 UK law firms have “mediocre” websites that are defined by their “dry” approach and “staid” tone, according to a survey by a digital benchmarking company. It names the worst five sites as Holman Fenwick Willan, Addleshaw Goddard, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, DAC Beachcroft and SNR Denton…
Only 12 websites were rated “good”, with Berwin Leighton Paisner topping the Last Exit list, followed by DLA Piper.
The websites were assessed on three main criteria: design and technology, marketing, and social media. Within this broad framework, they were also scored on “search functionality”, “user personalisation”, “identification of user types”, “recruitment sections”, “calls to action”, “thought leadership content”, “topicality of communications”, “richness of content”, “global credibility”, “reputation management”, “search engine optimisation”, “integration and usage of social media” and “share buttons”.
