Yesterday, the Epping Forest Guardian reported that local law student Lauren Crook had finally been called to the Bar “after sitting her exams for the second time – because her first results were lost”.
The paper didn’t give the name of Crook’s law school, stating only that: “…in July the 24-year-old was told by her training provider that her papers had been lost and given no option but to resit after the summer.”
However, the Google cache version of the article proved more detailed…
