Well, now there is evidence to back up the law-makes-you-fat theory. A survey by Careerbuilder.com has found that lawyers and judges are the professionals most likely to put on weight as a result of their jobs.
The report puts this down to law’s combination of “high stress” and its “more sedentary” rhythm.
The gazelle-like Stephens, who does exercises with his personal trainer up to three times a week, was recently profiled by the Financial Times in its ‘Jogging with the FT’ feature.
